Route Notes The team's climbing was on progress. On 28 April expedition's liaison officer Deepak Prasai died due to altitude sickness in the morning. On 27 April Prasai had headache, breathing problem and vomiting. Leader of the expedition Hajarian asked Prasai to go to lower altitude but he refused to do so. After the death of Liaison officer, the team decided to abandon the expedition. The dead body was brought to Kathmandu by helicopter on 30 April and handed over to family on same day. After the body was taken the five members and Sherpa went up to 6100m just to look at the route and returned to ABC. The team returned to Kathmandu on 8 May and trying to leave on 12 May. Esmailian and Jafri left BC on 25 April due to their work back home. They returned to Kathmandu on 28 May and left on 1 May.
