Route Notes BC near glacier ABC on glacier C1 at beginning of South Face High point at SSW Spur. Everyday snow and rain. Fixed 600m rope above C1 from C2 tried twice to climb spur on face via French route from C2 but very dangerous with almost daily avalanching. Highest point reached during night of 5/6 Oct. Started from C2 at midnight and at 5:00 am turned back because snow too dangerous.
