Route Notes Snowed everyday, so dangerous from avalanches - also from seracs - snowed 20 days. C1 to C2 much deep snow fell hence long time before C2 established. A member went up couloir on East Face of East Ridge to 6800m to dump gear on 6th May. Then snow fell 1m deep. So gave up on 8th May - but C2 under snow and uninhabitable were going to East Ridge of Fang which was like S Face of Annapurna. Ridge is rocky with 5 little peaks as one goes higher. Pass at 7000m was goal to get onto ridge and to see what is behind it. Was on glacier southeast of Fang. Everyday snow avalanches came down.
