Route Notes C1 at North Col High point at North Face. After C2 established down to rest in BC 3 days, then went to C2 but bad winds and down to ABC. 4 days there and then to C2 and C3 on 18 May, stayed C3 1 days but strong wind again down 19th evening and in ABC at 10:00 pm in this bad weather with no chance to go to top in next few days. Climb finished on 22 May when it became clear that Mondinelli could not go from ABC to top in one day, as he wished, and soon Mondinelli had to return to work.
