Route Notes C3 on Lhotse Face High point at South Col. C3 reached by Estienne, Contino, Navano, Pelle, Preaubert and Voyer on 25 Sept for acclimatization and down 26th to BC. 6 Oct Contino, Estienne, Navarro, Pelle, Voyer again to C3 and down 7th to BC by Estienne and Voyer while others stayed in C2. 10 Oct to C3 by Navarra, Contino and Estienne and on 11th by Voyer down to BC by all on 11th with Sherpas and climb finished. Both summit bids stopped by clouds and wind and 2nd time on 10th only winds, fierce winds over 100 km/hr - winds destroyed 1 tent at C2 and 2 at C3. No members went above C3. Sherpas reached 7900m on Oct 10.
