Route Notes 1 Sherpa and 2 members reached North Col while 6 more members following them in single file did not because of accident. Last 2 members in party were hit by avalanche: Han fell 20m down outside and not hurt but Choi at end of party disappeared and body not found during 5 days search. Party was to go to Col to deposit gear but not to make camp there yet. Ha and Keepa to North Col 13 Sept to retrieve gear to look for Choi. Team left some gear at Rongbuk Monastery to use in another attempt to find Choi's body and to climb mountain.
Accidents Nothing except fatal avalanche which killed Choi
