Route Notes Nima Rinji was taking loads from C2 to C4. While returning he slipped 600m below. But don't know exactly where. He was between Jit Bahadur (front) and Gombu (behind). Nobody saw him slip. First attempt on summit on May 20 by Munisamy, Nagappan, Choong and Hassan, but only reached C3 because of strong wind. Then came back BC. [2nd attempt on] May 18 moved to C3. May 22 moved to C4 and left for summit at 11 pm and summitted the next day. All the time in between the camps was spent waiting for the weather to clear. Nima Rinzi, who died was 30 years old, from Lokhim, Solu had never summited any 8000er.
