Route Notes C1 at top of Icefall C2 in Western Cwm C3 on Lhotse West Face High point at South Col. Highest point by members was by Dujmovits on 1st October with Bernard Muller and Alain Hubert [French team] to fix ropes to 7700m (no Sherpas from these 2 teams) + Korean Sherpas carrying rope (German team's Sherpas were all related to Lobsang Jangbu and French Sherpas close to them). 2 Oct Dujmovits to BC, 3rd Oct Sherpas from all 3 teams up to C3 and Col. 4th very bad weather and that night heavy snowfall and Dujmovits decided that wise to stop climb. Japanese Hirofumi Konishi was on Germans climbing permit for Everest, but he was independent unit; he and Germans sometimes climbed together.
Accidents Steger fell and broke 2 ribs and wrist bone; only trauma on Everest
