Lhtose members got altitude sickness and down to BC while Everst members very strong. C5 making very difficult: long distance, difficult terrain and windy; some Sherpas felt altitude. 14 Oct Everest 1st attack on summit: left C5 at 5:25 am (1-1/2 hours late because heavy fog). On top 15:35 pm; returned C5 21:45 pm. No 2nd summit bid: scheduled for 16th Oct but turned to Lhotse and made Lhotse C4 that day but very windy. Everest members this day in Everest C4 and bring down oxygen to C2. Lhotse summit attack cancelled because of strong winds and down on 17th. All members in BC 21 Oct. Oxygen used Everest above C5 by all members and Sherpas - not at all on Lhotse. Lhotse high point C4 (7850m) reached by Kim Jea-Soo, Yun, Sarki Sherpa and Pasang Tamang.
