Route Notes BC at road ABC at East Rongbuk at southwest bottom of Changtse C2 at North Col (from east). 16th Sept on 3rd trip to N Col found all tents covered by snow but could dig them out & sleep there. 17th went to 7500m for 2nd time but again only deposited supplies there for snow above knee-deep & very tired. Returned to ABC & now clients no longer interested in climb, had no patience to wait for good weather. 7500m reached: 4th Sept - Doligez, Nima Gambu, Mingma Chiring, Nawang Tenzing 10th Sept - Petraud & Mingma Chiring 17th Sept - Petraud, Doligez and 6 Sherpas No clients went more than 100m above N Col.
Accidents Besson sick (altitude? psychology?) & left early; nothing serious
