Route Notes C1 at North Col C2 at North Ridge C3 at North Face High point at North Face. 4 and 9 Oct parties tried to go to summit but no success. 9th Oct 9 people to C2 and 10th 4 of them slept in C3. 11th no communication with 4-man party and 2 from below tried to meet them but very strong wind at 7500m to 8000m. The 4 stayed 2 nights in C2, moving it to 8300m. 13th communication established and highest team advised to come down as temperature had suddenly dropped and winds continued and slowly party descended to North Col as dark was falling and 14th to ABC. 15th yaks arrived BC. 10 strong climbers and plenty of supplies but winds and cold.
Accidents Krivocheev slight frostbite; Efimov had no strength from cold or what?
