Route Notes Left KTM 19th Aug but had to wait several days at Shegar for LO and more days at BC for yaks. High point reached, just below N Col, not supposed because above was cornice and danger of avalanche. Koreans Sherpa (Ngati and 2) were trying for 2 days to make high camp, gained only 100m in 2 days and snow 2m deep. Pointless to wait, Greeks decided, when would take 15 days for snow to melt & another 15 days for rocks to clear. Weather did get better on 12 Sept but still no desire to wait after so many days doing nothing. Only one day when anyone from this expedition went above ABC.
