Route Notes	We were ready to go to the summit on the 13th of Aug with the col camp stocked on the 5th. Went back up to ABC on the 13th for summit bid but didn't sleep at col till 3 Sept, the only night slept there - but snow too deep (thigh deep) & didn't get above. Slept 33 nights at ABC & only 1 night at col. Major avalanching almost wiped out other American expedition. Perfect weather in all July but weren't acclimatized then. N Col slopes "horrendous" with huge slab avalanches.
