Route Notes Report from Willie Benegas: Frassia was a private client of Benegas on the HTB permit. Approach: Mera Peak BC 06/05 5350m C1 09/05 6000m C2 10/05 6440m C3 18/05 7150m C4 19/05 7900m Smt 20/05 by Benegas, Frassia, Khangdu Sherpa and Sonam Sherpa at 6:50 am. Team left C4 at 9 pm. It was not busy, but pretty windy on the summit. They stayed about 5 minutes on the summit and descended to South Col where they arrived at 1 pm. They had intended to climb Lhotse the following day, but abandoned the climb. On 21/05 descended to C2 where they arrived at mid-afternoon. To BC on 22/05 and left BC on 23/05. Sherpas above BC: 3 Oxygen: C3 to top to C3 by members and Sherpas.
