Route Notes Report from Kevin Farebrother: Approach: Pangboche, Lobuche BC 16/04 5350m C1 -- 6000m C2 30/04 6440m C3 13/05 7100m C4 14/05 7900m Smt 15/05 by Farebrother, Thomas, Tendi Sherpa, Furi Sherpa, Dawa Sambu Sherpa Lama at 8:30 am. Summit team left C4 at 10 pm on 14/05. Straightforward climb. Team spent about 20 mins on the summit. About 10 other people up there. They descended to C4 where they arrived at 4 pm. On 16/05 team apart from Dawa Lama descended to C2 where they spent another night and descended to BC on 17/05. Dawa Lama desceded to C2 on 15/05 and BC on 16/05. Left BC on 18/05 trekking to Pheriche. Oxygen: Taken and used from C3 to top to C3 by members From C4 to top to C4 by Sherpas. Padamati and Thigulla were clients of Transcend Advenvture on Dream Himalaya permit. Alex Moller and Matthew Bond were clients of Ryan Waters. Both were not strong enough to do the climb.
