Route Notes Approach: Pangboche BC 23/04 5350m C1 27/04 5800m C2 28/04 6440m C3 12/05 7100m C4 13/05 7900m Smt 15/05 by Cool, Smith, Saikaly, Pasang Kaji (PK), Dorjee Gyalzen, Chewang Dorje, Chheten Dorjee, Kami Rita, Dawa Jangbu Sherpa (Lukla) at 4:30 am. Summit team at 8:15 am. Nims Dai’s team was also on the route. It was a warm night, team was not even wearing mittens on the way. They spent about one hour on the summit as they were doing some filming. The summit was windy. They descended to C2, where they arrived at 4 pm. Back to BC on 16/05. Smith took a helicopter to BC while Cool and Saikaly walked down. Team left BC on 17/05 by heli. Oxygen: Taken and used from C2 to top to C2 by Smith, Saikaly From C3 to top to C3 by Cool, PK Sherpa From C4 to top to C4 by all other Sherpas.
