Route Notes Sveinsson and Hallgrimsson were Ang Himalayan Adventures clients on Kaitu permit along with their Sherpas: Ang Tshering Lama (owner of Ang Himalayan Adventures) Lakpa Chhiri Sherpa Mingmar Tamang They made no attempt on Lhotse after summiting Everest. Reid Larson report: Larson and Tashi Thundu left C4 at 11:45 pm on 22 May, summited at 9:45 am on 23 May, stayed 30 minutes, then descended to C2 at 7:30 pm. Windy at S Col <=40 knots. Oxygen: Used from C3 to summit to C3. Carsten Pederson report: Appr: Namche to EBC by heli BC(27/04,5350m),C1(02/05,6100m),C2(03/05,6440m),C3(21/05),C4(22/05,7900m),xxx Pedersen started to feel very tired on the way from C3 to C4. When Pedersen and Yukta Gurung arrived at C4 the weather was bad, and they stayed for two nights to wait for the weather to improve. However, the weather did not improve, and Pedersen did not feel too well and slow, they descended to C2 on 24/05. The storm came in and Pedersen felt worse and the COVID-19 symptoms were getting worse. The weather only cleared on 29/05 and picked up Pedersen and first flew to BC where they picked up another person. They flew to Lukla, changed helicopters and flew to Kathmandu. In Kathmandu, Pedersen did a COVID-19 test at CIVIC, and it was positive. He stayed at the Hyatt for his quarantine and flew back to Denmark on 07/06 with a negative PCR test.
