Route Notes From www.mt8848.com: The 2020 Mount Everest survey team completed the peak survey task. At 11:00 on May 27th, the 8 final summit members of the 2020 Mount Everest surveying team fell second, Yuan Fudong, Li Fuqing, Pubu Dhondup, Tsering Dorji, Tsering Phuntsok, Tsering Luobu, and Lausanne Dhondup successfully reached the summit peak, and then performed the peak measurement. After staying at the peak for 2 hours and 30 minutes, the team members completed all the peak measurement tasks and began to descend at 13:30. It took 9 hours to reach the summit. At 1:00 on May 27th, the eight top players got up and started to prepare breakfast and pack their equipment. At 2:10, the team members set off from the assault camp at an altitude of 8300 meters after putting on crampons. The command tent of Mount Everest Base Camp was brightly lit all night. Wang Yongfeng, the commander-in-chief of the 2020 Mount Everest Survey Mountaineering Frontline Command, the captain of the Chinese mountaineering team, and several deputy commanders and consultants of the frontline command kept in touch with the front-end team members through the telephone. At about 8 o'clock, the team members climbed the "Chinese Ladder" and passed the "Second Step". The "Second Step" is located between 8680 meters above sea level and 8700 meters above sea level on Mount Everest. There is a nearly upright cliff of about 4 meters without any fulcrum to climb. This is the last difficulty on the traditional route.
