| Route Notes | BC 31/03 5300m C1 19/04 6100m C2 08/05 6600m (during 2nd rotation) C3 19/05 7100n (during summit push) C4 20-21/05 7900m Hpt 20-21/05 7900m Kumar and Samgel Sherpa. Climb abandoned on May 21 due to Samgel/Samgyal Sherpa not interested to go for the top. May 22 back to C2. Stayed at C2 on May 23, then back to BC on May 24 and flew to Lukla same day. Oxygen: Used from C3 (sleeping) to C4 to C3 (oxygen ran out midway in descent). Acclimatized on Island Peak, then Lobuche East. Kumar said that his Sherpa didn't want to go for the top, always creating reasons for not to go. Kumar's regulator broken by Sherpas. |
