Schedule of summit push: May 19: Pandey and Parmar slept at C3. On that day, Pandey had been hurt by a rock fall between C2 and C3 on his left knee. May 20: Birn slept at C3, meanwhile Pandey and Parmar slept at C4. That evening, Pandey and Parmar decided not to try due to weather bad conditions (windy). May 21: Birn joined Pandey and Parmar at C4. Pandey and Parmar started for summit at c6:30-7 pm. Pandey stopped at Balcony at c9:30-10 pm due to his left knee injury, reaching back to C4 at 11:30 pm. Parmar continued to climb with her Sherpa. Birn started later at c7:30-8 pm. He reached Balcony at c11-11:30 pm where he abandoned. May 22: Parmar summited at 5 am with her Sherpa and was back to C4 at noon. On return from the summit, she lost one goggle so that she begun to contract snowblindness. Slept at C4 that night with oxygen, with one bottle left by Pandey for her. In the morning, Birn had come back to C4 at c4-5 am, while Pandey was resting in his tent. Pandey found Birn in a serious state of deterioration (apparent symptoms of AMS), cared for him with medicines and food, then helped him to get down at C3 with Sherpas, and also launched rescue via Parajuli of Prestige Adventure. According to Pandey, Birn's oxygen device wasn't working correctly. Same day Pandey continued to C2 where he slept. He had also helped an other member in bad shape. May 23: Birn was rescued from C3 at 8 am to Kathmandu, then went for treatment at Swacon Hospital. As his knee remained too painfull, Pandey was heli-rescued at 4 pm from C2 to BC, on the same day flew to Lukla. Day after to Kathmandu. As she had contracted snowblindness, Parmar couldn't be rescued on that day. She managed to reach C2 however at c8-9 pm where she slept. May 24: Parmar was heli-rescued from C2 to Lukla, then to KTM then went for treatment at CIWEC hospital. Oxygen: from “jumar point” at foot of Lhotse face (6800m) to summit/high point to C3.
