| Route Notes | BC 14/04 C1 19/04 C2 26/04 C3 28/05 C4 21/05 Smt 16/05 by McClaren and Nima Sherpa at 8:15 am. Smt 23/05 by Inamdar and Kragh with Sherpas. Inamdar on summit at 5:23 am with his two Sherpas Kipa and Wangda. They started from C4 at 5 pm on 22/05. Back to C4 at 1:15 pm and next day to C2. Inamdar stayed on the summit for 40-45 minutes. A lot of people were coming up. Very good conditions, almost no wind. Kragh summited without oxygen at 6:43 am on 23/05 with his Sherpa Karma. 23/05 not as crowded as 22/05. Maybe 70-80 people going for summit on 23/05. He needed just over 11 hours from C4 to summit. 16 hours round trip C4 to C4. He started from C4 at 7:15 pm. Back to C4 at 11:30 am. Back to C2 the same day. Reached C2 around 5 pm. Good conditions, wind was blowing in C4 on 22/05. Then it settled down in evening. Very clear, cold night. Some wind in the morning on summit ridge. When he got back to C4 a lot of wind. Kragh stayed on the summit for 5-10 minutes. He is the first Danish on Everest without supplemental oxygen. Jaahnavi Sriperambuduru was rescued from C2 by helicopter on 20/05 because of exhaustion. High point C2. Nihal Bagwan on the other Peak Promotion team died at C4 after his summit on 23/05 at 9 pm. He died of exhaustion and he was moving too slow and was rescued from the Balcony area. His Sherpa Lakpa got bad frostbite on left hand. Team left BC on 26/05. Return KTM: McClaren and Inamdar on 26/05 by heli BC to KTM Kragh on 29/05 by heli from Lukla Oxygen: taken and used from C3 to summit and down to little below C3 by Inamdar; not used by Kragh; taken and used from in between C3-C4 to summit and down to C3 by McClaren; used by Kipa and Wangda Sherpa from Yellow Band to summit to C3, by Kharma Gyaltzen Sherpa from C3 to summit and down to C3.
