Route Notes CBC 18/04 4900m ABC 23/04 6400m C1 28/04 7050m C2 -- C3 15/05 8200m Smt 16/05 by Lagozny at 8:47 am CST (6:32 am NST), Lindwall, Krypel, Chhiring Dorje, Ang Mingmar at 9:35 am CST (7:20 am NST) Smt 20/05 by Twardowski, Chhiring Dorje (again) and Ang Mingmar (again) at 7:09 am CST (5:54 am NST). The team did not use C2 as they needed to save time as they wanted to reach the summit on 16/05. It took them 12 hours to get from C1 to C3 on 15/05. Team left Camp 3 at 12:47 am CST. It was snowing slightly. Approximately 50 climbers on the route. When Lindwall reached the 1st Step at about 3 am, he stopped for about one hour to warm up his feet. On the 2nd Step they had to wait for half an hour, for a USA film team, who were filming. They spent about one hour on the summit and then descended to C1 (Lindwall and Krypel), where they arrived at 9:15 pm. Lagozny descended to ABC, where he arrived at 11 pm. Twardowski summited four days later as he acclimatised a bit slower and was not ready to summit on 16/05. Team left ABC on 19/05 & 23/05. Oxygen: Taken and used from 7000m to top to C1 by Lindwall and Krypel, Chhiring Dorje and Ang Mingmar Lagozny from 8200m to summit to 7800m.
