| Route Notes | BC 12/04 5400m C1 20/04 6000m C2 24/04 6400m C3 04/05 7200m C4 16/05 7900m Smt 17/05 by Choi Im-Bok with 3 Sherpas. Started on 16/05 from C4 at 8:30 pm, summited on 17/05 at 7:30 am, back to C4 at noon, then to C2 at 6:40 pm. Next day 18/05 back to BC. Kang Dae-Chul – HP at C3 (stamina power problem). Kim Jong-Beom – HP at C3 (high-altitude sickness (headache)). Team left BC on 20/05. Oxygen: Taken from C4 to summit to C4 (not used for sleeping) Sherpas: Chinjung Bhote, Hatiya-1, 28 years old Sangbu Lama, Hatiy-a2, 30 years old Sangbu Bhote, 18 years old (All 3 of them went to the top with Choi Im-Bok) |
