Route Notes The Prestige Adventure expedition was a combination of four independent teams (1 climber each). Prestige Adventure provided transportation, base camp facilities and various levels of high altitude support (oxygen, high-altitude porters, tents, etc) as required and contracted for by each team. The individual accounts for each team are given below: Marco Zaffaroni (Italy) Name: Everest Stile Gitante Camps: BC(22/04,5350m),C1(26/04,5900m),C2(27/04,6400m),C3(17/05,7100m), xxx(18/05,7800m) Left: 20/05/2018 Hired: 1 Term: Abandoned at 7800m due to Tendi Sherpa being too tired to continue Zaffroni abandoned climb due to his Sherpa, who was too tired to continue. They descended to C2. Zaffaroni stayed there for two nights as he was contemplating going back up again, but abandoned the idea. Zaffaroni left BC on 20/05 by heli to Lukla. Oxygen: Taken and used from C3 to high point (descended without O2). Sherpa: Tendi Sherpa Mehrdad Shahlaei (Iran) Camps: BC(17/04,5350m),C1(25/04,5900m),C2(26/04,6400m),C3(06/05,7000m), C4(17/05,7900m),Smt(18/05) Left: 20/05/2018 Hired: 1 Term: Success (8 am) Shahlaei and Chhebi Bhote left C4 at 8 pm on 17/05, summited 8 am on 18/05, stayed one hour, then descended to C4. Suffered from snowblindness during night at C4. Descended with Sherpa to C2, arriving 19/05. Evacuated from C2 to hospital in Ktmdu on 20/05, released 22/05. Apparently summit was very busy, "dozens of climbers." Climbed Island Peak after first Everest BC stay. Oxygen: Taken and used from C33 to summit; same by Sherpa. Sherpa: Chhebi Bhote Megha Parmar (India) Term: Success (10:45 am) Sherpa: Ngima Nuru
