| Route Notes | BC 28/04 5350m C1 30/04 5900m C2 01/05 6400m C3 15/05 7000m C4 16/05 7900m Smt 18/05 by Benovici, Sonam [Chhiring] Sherpa and [Ang} Gombu Sherpa at 7:30 am, Polyakov, Zhumayev, Khangdu Sherpa, Mingma [Chhiri] Sherpa at 8 am. Summit team stayed an extra night at the South Col as both Benovici and Polyakov were too tired to go on 17/05. They left C4 at 7 pm on 17/05. They overtook many people. Benovici had problems with his mask and finally changed it at 8700m. They spent about an hour on the summit. Benovici had slight problems with his eyes as he had taken off his glasses a few times on the ascent. They descended to C4, where they arrived at 1 pm. Benovici reached C4 at 3 pm.
