| Route Notes | BC 26/04 5350m C1 04/05 5900m C2 05/05 6400m C3 16/05 7000m C4 17/05 7900m Smt 18/05 by Fabbro, Stringham, Wilkinson, Snow, Temba, Dawa, Gyaljen at 7:30 am. Team stayed on summit 30 mins. Clear on summit. At C3 saw the deceased Russian, who was catatonic at that stage (on morning of 17/05). Apart from that nothing significant, lot of wind on summit ridge, but totally calm on summit. All went to C2 on 18/05, then descended to base camp and waited 2 days for heli back (first to Lukla, then to Kathmandu). Team left BC on 20/05 by heli. Fabbro has two toes which exhibit possible frostbite (not clear final outcome at present). Also climbed Lobuche before, having first got to Everest BC on 26/04. Oxygen: Taken and used from C33 to summit and on return to C2 Same use by Sherpas. Sherpas: Temba Bhote Dawa [Finjo?] Sherpa Gyaljen Sherpa Denduk Bhote [?] From Himalayan Times - 18 May 2018 American climbers — Daniel Stringham, David Snow, Fabbro Fabian Anthony and Thomos Franklin — climbed Mt Everest along with Temba Bhote, Dawa Finjo Sherpa, Gyaljen Sherpa and Denduk Bhote, according to Thaneswar Guragai, an official at Seven Summit Treks. |
