Route Notes BC 19/04 5350m C1 -- 6000m C2 25/04 6390m C3 12/05 6905m C4 13/05 7900m Smt 14/05 by Hrad, Phurba Sherpa at 10:15 am Smt 16/05 by Grabmueller, Pemba Sherpa at 12 pm. On 13/05, Hrad, Grabmueller, Pemba and Phurba arrived at C4. As the weather was not looking too good they were unsure whether to go or not. In the end only Hrad and Phurba set out for the summit as it was Hrad's 40th birthday on 14/05. 14/05 summit team left C4 at around 9:30 am. The weather was clear and calm. They stayed around 10 minutes on the summit and descended to C4, where they arrived at around 5 pm. On 15/05 to C2. He was waiting for Grabmueller at C2. Grabmueller and Pemba left C4 at 8 pm on 15/05. They had initially planned to go for the summit for the 15/05, but the weather deteriorated and they stayed at C4 for another night. On the way up it was windy. The fixed rope was covered in snow. They spent about 10 minutes on the summit and descended to C4, where they arrived at about 10:30 pm. On 17/05 when he woke up he noticed that he had frostbite. Grabmueller and Pemba left C4 at 3 pm in the afternoon (he was too exhausted to go down earlier) and reached C2 at 1:30 am on 18/05. He received some help from other Sherpas (tea at Lhotse C4). On 18/05 Grabmueller was evacuated from C4 at 7 am. Hrad joined him. They were flown to BC and then to Kathmandu. They arrived in Kathmandu at 5 pm on 18/05. At CIWEC clinic for about 5 days. Polastik reached Lhotse C4 on 13/05. He was too exhausted to continue. Ondrej reached C3. He was too exhausted to continue. Hrad and Grabmueller left on 18/05 by helicopter from C2. Oxygen: Taken and used from C3 to summit to C3 by members From C4 to high point to C4 by Sherpas.
