Everest: Cazzanelli and Cheli started from C4 at 8:45 pm the day before, reached summit at 5:45 am (first from Nepal side this day), back to C4 at 10 am. Same day straight back to BC at 9:30 pm. Meanwhile Camandona and Sergio Cirio had slept at C4 that same summit night (with oxygen for Cirio). Hired: Ramesh Gurung, Hatiya-7, 1988-06-29, ID 101018-26 (to summit) Nima Rinje Sherpa, Jubing-5, 1997-05-19, ID 11-01-71-01934 (to summit) Rinje Sherpa, Makalu-9, 1998-01-10, ID 220-629 (to South Col) Lhotse: Cazzanelli and Camandona started from BC on 21 May, sleeping at C2. On 22 May to C4. On 23 May to summit. Started from C4 of Lhotse (7600m) at 11:15 pm (on 22 May), reached summit at 7:00 am (Cazzanelli)/7:30 am (Camandona), then back to Lhotse C4 at 11 am. Same day they were back to BC reaching at 6 pm. Oxygen: Everest: used by Cazzanelli (from 8300m to smt to Balcony) used by Cheli (from C3 to smt to C2 and to sleep from C3) Sherpas also used it from C4 to smt to C4 Lhotse: not used by either Camandona and Cazzanelli From Montagna TV website: When Rinje Sherpa carrying oxygen tanks become sick at C4, there would not be enough oxygen for all three climbers, so Sergio Cirio gave up his summit attempt. Cirio was a client of Cazzanelli.
