Route Notes BC 18/04 5350m C1 21/04 5900m C2 22/04 6400m C3 12/05 7000m C4 13/05 7900m Smt 14/05 by Plain, Gupta, Pemba Dorje at 7:30 am. Summit team left C4 at 10:30 pm on 13/05. Weather was good and calm. They spent about 40 minutes on the summit and then descended to C4, where they arrived at 11 am. On 15/05 they left Everest C4 at 5 am and descended to Lhotse C4 (7700m), where they deposited their gear and went to climb Lhotse. They set out from Lhotse C4 at 6:30 am. Lhotse Smt 15/05 by Plain, Gupta at 12:30 pm. They spent about 2 minutes on the summit and descended to Lhotse C4, took it down and continued to BC, where they arrived at 9:30 pm. Rested at BC on 16/05. Left BC on 17/05 heli to Lukla. Everset-Lhotse Oxygen: From C3 to Everest top to Lhotse top to Lhotse C4 by Gupta and down to C2 by Plain. Sherpa: Pemba Dorje, Pangboche, 02/12/73 Nuptse Attempt: C3 01/05 6830m HPt 02/05 7650m Rope was fixed by AC Sherpas. Plain and Gupta together with Mosedale, Booth, Chhebi and Pemba Dorje left C3 at 2 am. Weather was good. At around 7300m at sunrise 5 am wind picked up. They grouped up with Guy Cotter and his group at 7400m, discussed and carried on. They reached their high point at about 9:30 am and the fixing team said it would be too avalanche-prone higher up. They descended to C3, packed up and reached C2 at 5:30 pm. Nuptse Oxygen: From C3 to high point to C3 by Plain, Pemba Dorje, Mosedale From 7400m to high point to C3 by Gupta and Booth.
