Best conditions on the mountain Madison had ever seen on Everest. There is a huge cornice right on the top of Everest now. Lhotse Summit: 19/05 by Madison, Miller, Mingmar at 9 am. Lhotse summiters left C4 on Everest at 3:30 am. They changed oxygen at Lhotse C4 and continued to the summit. He had a bad cough and left the expedition at the beginning of May. Oosthuizen made it half way through the Icefall, but his mind was not in it and left the expedition at the end of April. Regulator issue: Madison also had 8 regulators (Summit Elite Model) on or near the summit. Fortunately they had heard about regulator failure issue beforehand and were well prepared and took [precautions]. Left BC on 21/05 by heli.
