Route Notes BC 18/04 4900m ABC 29/04 6400m C1 03/05 7000m (and 18/05) C2 19/05 7650m C3 20/05 8200m Smt 21/05 by Akerberg, Ang Mingma at 7 am Smt 22/05 by Breckheim and Chhiring Dorjee at 8:20 am, Machnik and Pasang Lama at 8:10 am. 21 May summit team left C3 at 11 pm on 20 May. Weather was calm, warm up to about 8700m, when it got a bit windy and cold. On the summit it was windy and cold. They stayed up there for about 15 minutes, then descended to ABC, where there arrived at 9 pm. Akerberg descended to CBC on 22 May. Machnik and Pasang Lama left 1:10 am and Breckheim and Chhiring Dorjee left at 12:30 am. The weather was calm and sunny. Straightforward climb. They spent about 40 minutes on the summit and descended to C3, where Machnik and Pasang Lama arrived at 2 pm; Breckheim and Chhiring Dorjee at 3 pm. On 23 May, all down to ABC. Very windy day. They stayed at CBC for 3 nights to make sure everything was clean. Left ABC on 24 May and BC on 28 May. Oxygen: Taken and used from C1 to top to C1 by member and Sherpas.
