Route Notes BC 17/04 4900m ABC 26/04 6400m C1 04/05 7000m C2 14/05 7650m C3 15/05 8200m Smt 16/05 by Gupta, Hughes, Lhakpa Wangchu and Lila Tamang at 4:45 am. Summit team left C3 at 8:30 pm on 15 May. Perfect conditions, weather was cold. About another 15 other people on the summit. Spent half an hour on the summit and descended to C2, where they arrived at 4 pm. When they arrived there they had winds of about 80km/h. On 17 May the winds were still high down to ABC. Left ABC on 19 May. Oxygen: Taken and used from C1 to summit to 6600m by Hughes C2 to summit to C2 by Gupta, C2 to summit to C2 by Sherpas.
