Route Notes Gilian Lee - 26 Sept 2017 Maximum altitude was Lhotse Camp 4, 7800m on morning of 16 May 2017. Felt great that morning, but didn't sleep well (I don't use O2). With me was Ang Dawa Sherpa and Kipa Sherpa. We all turned back to Camp 2 because of massive winds at the summit on the morning of 16 May 2017. We heard from US team that the winds were bad and they were turning around. Dawa recommended that we go down. We turned back to Camp 2 and rested for a second attempt. Back I could not do a second attempt. Altitude sickness (headache, heavy lungs and fast heart rate) meant that I was not able to get up to Camp 3. Went back to BC on 20 May 2017. Left BC on 22 May 2017.
