| Route Notes | BC 25/04 5300m C1 28/04 C2 29/04 6500m C3 05/05 7300m HPt 24/05 reached at Yellow Band (7600m) by Amon, Groebner at 8 am. Leithner fell sick at BC and had to abandon climb. He never got higher than BC and left BC on 26 April. On their way from C3 to C4, Amon and Groebner decided to turn around at about 7600m because of strong winds. They reached BC at 2 pm. They had taken oxygen for summit push, but never used it. |
