| Route Notes | BC 17/04 4900m ABC 25/04 6400m C1 29/04 7000m C2 17/05 7800m C3 18/05 8300m Smt 19/05 by Medvetz, Linville, Hiraide, Lhakpa Nuru (Phorste), Ang Pasang (Thami), Mingma Sherpa (Thamo), Ngima Tashi (Thami) at 12:30 pm (Nepal Time). Team set off from C4 at 3:30 am, half an hour behind the rope-fixing team. Lot of snow on the mountain this year. It was very windy and the tracks of the rope-fixing team got covered in snow quickly. Steps were difficult for Linville as he has his right leg amputated. They spent about 30 minutes. They descended to C2, where they spent the night. They arrived at 6:30 pm. On 20 May to ABC. Oxygen: Slept on 0.5l in ABC for five nights before the summit attempt by members; then on summit push from C1 to top to C1 by members; from C2 to top to C2 by Sherpas.
