Route Notes BC 09/04 5350m C1 15/04 6000m C2 16/04 6500m C3 08/05 7100m C4 20/05 7900m Smt 22/05 by Pollard and Lhakpa Gyalzen at 2:40 am, Rinjin Bhote and Youbarj Nachhiring Rai (C2 cook for Mountain Madness) at 5 am. On 20 May the summit team and Giorgio reached C4. They intended to stay for two nights to do some filming up there. When they noticed that there was not enough oxygen for Rinjin Bhote and Youbarj Nachhiring Rai to summit, Giorgio agreed to give them his oxygen for the summit bid. He remained at C4 while the others went for the summit. Summit team left C4 at 8 pm. Many people on the route. They stayed about 30 minutes on the summit, descended to C4 where they rested for 2 hours and then continued to C2, where they arrived at 6 pm. On 23 May to everyone down at BC. Giorgio reached 8550m just below the Balcony on 21 May. He did not intend to summit on that day as he only ventured out to film. His reason for not going for the summit was that he handed his oxygen to Youbarj Nachhiring Rai and Rinjin Bhote for them to summit. Oxygen: Taken and used from C3 to top/high point to C4 by members and Youbarj Rai. From C4 to top to C4 by Rinzi and Lhakpa Gyalzen.
