Route Notes BC 14/04 5350m C1 01/05 6000m C2 03/05 6400m C3 17/05 7300m C4 18/05 7950m Smt 19/05 by Das, Terran, Terang, Lhakpa Rangdu, Phurba Sherpa, Phurba Tsering Sherpa at 7:20 am. On 18 May summit team started at 8 pm. Straightforward climb. They spent about 20 minutes on the summit, then descended to C4 at 2:30 pm (Terang) and the rest around 4 pm. 20 May to C2 and 21 May to BC. Barooah reached C3 on 3 May. He felt tired and decided that he did not want to climb. During the summit push he stayed at C2 until 19 May. Chakraborty reached C3 on 03 May. He was too slow during the expedition and the leader decided that he should not try for the summit. He stayed at BC for the rest of the expedition. Sherpas; Lhakpa Rangdu, Sotang-6, Solukhumbu 18/11/1967 Phurba, Sotang-6, Solukhumbu, 17/07/1982 Oxygen: Taken and used from C3 to top to C3 by members, C4 to top to C4 by Sherpas.
Accidents Phurba Tsering and Terran slight frostbite on fingers (1st degree); they were flown out to Kathmandu by heli on 22 May
