Route Notes BC 17/04 4900m ABC 24/04 6400m C1 27/04 7000m C2 21/05 7800m C3 22/05 8300m Smt 23/05 by Kobler and Pemba Sherpa at 7 am, Sieveking, Durack, Kusang Tenzing, Nuru Wangchu, Mingmar Dendi and Ang Kami at 8:30 am. Summit team left C3 at 10:30 pm on 22 May. Kobler was ahead of the pack and broke trail. Straightforward climb. They spent about 1 hour on the summit. Kobler and Durack descended to C1, where they arrived at 3 pm. Sieveking descended to C2. Sherpas descended to ABC. On 24 May they descended to BC. Schittich reached C1 on 27 April. She didn't cope well with the altitude and abandoned expedition. She stayed at BC for the rest of the expedition. Schuetz reached 8200m on 22 May; he felt exhausted and descended to C1 the same day. Oxygen: Taken and used from C1 to top to C1 by members; C2 to top to C2 by Sherpas.
