Route Notes	BC 10/04 5350m C2 23/04 6400m HPt 23/04 6400m at C2 by Cartier. Cartier spent two nights at C2 for acclimatization purposes. During the earthquake he was coming down the Icefall. A big tower of ice, 10 meters of diameter and 25 meters high, collapsed about 20 meters from where he was standing. Also he got a big blow of wind from an avalanche coming down Nuptse West Face that was triggered by the earthquake. He continued to BC the same day. He abandoned the expedition when the Under Armour expedition pulled the plug. If the Icefall doctors had come back and took care again of the Icefall, he would have continued his expedition.
