| Route Notes | As Ballinger and his clients acclimatised back home in hypoxic tents, the clients had not even arrived in Nepal when the avalanche happened on 18 April. Three days after Ballinger had arrived in Nepal, he took a helicopter to see what was happening at BC; however, when it became clear that the season was over, he flew back to Kathmandu the following day and advised his clients to cancel their flights, which they did. |
