Route Notes	Zirpe was forced to abandon his expedition due to the Sherpa strike that followed the avalanche in the Khumbu Icefall on 18 April. The Sherpas, who were still at C2 on 20 April were asked to come down and this was the last time anyone entered the Khumbu Icefall. Zirpe's gear was helicoptered down from C2. On 21 April the tourism minister and told those who wanted to continue to do so; however, there were some aggressive Sherpas who said that they would kill if anyone carried on. For this reason, Zirpe took a helicopter to Lukla on 24 April and flew to Makalu ABC to support his team there. He arrived at Makalu ABC on 27 April.
