| Route Notes | The team arrived late at EBC as they were climbing Lobuche East to acclimatize. They summited on 18 April. None of their members or Sherpas had been through the Icefall as they had not done their puja at that stage. After the accident, Coster had offered to contribute some Sherpas to change the route in the Icefall and his members were prepared to carry loads; however, when he realized that the Icefall doctors were not maintaining the route and his Sherpas, who would have been willing to carry on, were threatened, he decided to abandon the climb. |
