Route Notes The expedition went to the top via the North Col in one group: Crampton, Dellis, Dominguez, Kay, Nichols, Nielsen, Roth, Watroba and 11 Sherpas were in the summit party. Ms. Watroba left the highest camp, C3, with two Sherpas on 21 May at 8:00 pm (NST), Ms. Nichols left with one Sherpa at 8:30 pm, and other would be summiters left at 9:00 pm. But not all of them summited: Dellis turned around at the bottom of the First Step (about 8385m) at 1:00 am on the 22nd because his hands were extremely cold. Dominguez was too tired to continue his climb after he reached 8385m at 2:00 am. Kay and Roth had left C3 at 12:30 am and turned back an hour later because they were too cold; they retreated all the way down to C1. All other members of the party succeeded. The first was Ms. Watroba, who summited at 6:30 am on 22 May with Ang Gelu and Pemba Gyabu; the last one up was Ms. Nichols with Tarke at 9 pm. All the successful members descended to C2 and their Sherpas went down to C1. Oxygen was used by all members and Sherpas from 7200m to their high points and down to C1. Non-summiting members: Goodwin didn't trust the weather forecasts they were receiving, got to C2 on the 20th, and spent the rest of the climbing period in BC. Searle reached 7800m on the 21st, ran out of steam and stayed in BC. Wright got to C1 on 13 May with the others occupying the camp for the first time, but was not feeling well and stayed in BC. Sherpa summiters: Ang Gelu, 23/7/70, Chaurikharka-4, Solu Chhongba Nurbu, 28/8/61, Chaurikharka-7, Solu Lhakpa Tenzi, 5/4/74, Lokhim-4, Solu Pasang Gelu, 5/11/65, Sotang-6, Solu Pasang Ongchhu, 25/4/87, Bung-9, Solu Pemba Gyabu, 19/12/87, Lelep-7, Taplejung Tarke Sherpa, 18/6/67, Lokhim-4, Solu
