Summit team left C3 at 9:30 pm on 21 May. It was windy. About 40 m/ph. Climb was straightforward. They arrived on the summit between 6 am and 8 am. They stayed an average of about 15 minutes on the summit. It was very windy. Good views. Bruce Jones descended to ABC, where he arrived at 4:30 pm. The rest descended to C3, where they arrived between 4 pm and 5 pm. Bowerman started having problems with her eyes at about 7400m and was very slow on the descent. On 22 May to ABC. Kerr and Logan reached 7700m on 20 May. Kerr had a hemorrhage and could not carry on. Noble thought that Logan was too slow to climb the mountain and told her to go down. They both went down to ABC on 21 May. Hobon reached 7000m on 4 May. He stayed the night there on acclimatization rotation. He was just not strong enough to climb the mountain and abandoned the expedition.
