| Route Notes | BC 09 Apr 5350m C1 -- 6000m C2 27 Apr 6500m C3 17 May 7110m C4 18 May 8000m Smt 19 May by Baig, Lhakpa, Nurbu, Tashi Malik, Nunghsi Malik, Mingma Tenzing and Mingma Dorjee (Makalu Twins), Mingma Gyabu at 7:40 am Smt 21 May by Sanju, Nima Dorjee at 10:20 am. 19 May summit team and Mirza Ali Baig left C4 at 7:30 pm on 18 May. When Mirza and Samina reached 8600m he saw that his sister was going strong and did not need him. His main goal was to support his sister. He had initially planned to climb without oxygen, but his sister begged him to use it, so he did not see any point in carrying on. He turned back at 3 am and let his sister go on without him. He descended to C4, where he arrived at about 3:45 am. Rest of the team continued and stayed 15 minutes on summit. They descended to C4, where they arrived at 1:30 pm. Mirza made them some tea and Mirza Ali Baig, Lhakpa and Nurbu descended to C2, where they arrived at 8 pm. Tashi and Nungshi Malik (twin sisters) stayed at C4. On 20 May Mirza Ali Baig, Lhakpa and Nuru rested at C2 and waited for the Malik twins to come down. On 21 May descended to BC. 21 May summit team left C4 at 8:30 pm. Straightforward climb. Descended to C4, where they stayed the night. 22 May descended to C2, 23 May to BC.
