Route Notes High Point on 20 May at 8600m by Jumaan, Da Nurbu and Nga Temba at 4:30 am. On 10 May high point team left C4 at 9:30 pm. It was very crowded and progress was slow. They had to wait for about 30 minutes on Hillary Step. When they got to 8600m the wind picked up and clouds came in. They saw many climbers turn back near the summit and the thought of the dead people further up made Jumaan decide to turn back. They arrived at C4 at about 7:30 am, rested there for two hours and carried on to C2, where they arrived at 6 pm. On 21 May they descended to BC and left BC 22 May. Sheik reached BC, but was not feeling well; he stayed at BC for the whole expedition. Yuhanis reached C1 and stayed the night on 22 April; he did not feel well, probably altitude sickness and stayed at BC for the rest of the expedition.
