Route Notes Summit on 19 May by Oh and Ngaa Tenzi at 3 am. Oh, Nga Tenzi, Seo and Nurbu Sherpa left C4 at 7:45 pm on 18 May. They were the first to leave on that morning. It was clear and calm. Oh and Nga Tenzi were faster so they went ahead and reached the summit. They did not know what time it was, but it was still dark, so they descended about 20 km and waited for the sun to rise. At 4:30 am they climbed back to the summit and stayed for about 10 minutes. On their descent they met Seo and Nurbu at 8600m at 8 am. After Nga Tenzi told them it would be too late to go up to the summit, Seo and Nurbu turned back and reached C4 at about 11 am, rested for 1 hour and descended to C3, where they arrived at about 7:30 pm. Oh and Nga Tenzi reached C4 at 10 am, slept for two hours and reached C2 at 6 pm. On 20 May Seo and Nurbu descended to C3 where Oh and Nga Tenzi were waiting for them. On 21 May everybody descended to BC. Oxygen: Taken and used by Nga Tenji and Oh from C3 to top to 7600m. Seo and Nurbu from C3 to high point to C3.
