Route Notes Summit on 10 May by Irmak at 4 pm. Irmak left C4 at 8:30 pm on 18 May. He left without his Sherpa who did not want to come. On his way up everything was Ok. It was very windy on the summit and his two flags were taken by the wind. He spent about 10 minutes on the summit. On his way down a big storm was starting and he was trying to get down as quickly as possible. After he reached the Balcony at round 9 pm he cannot remember anything. When he was found by Ben Yehuda at 11:45 pm, who was on his way up with his Sherpa Pemba, his oxygen mask was gone. He felt delirious and Ben Yehuda and his Sherpa tried to get him up. He heard Ben Yehuda say whether he could move his legs and he could. Ben Yehuda and Pemba had to step over the dead Canadian-Nepali girl to get to Irmak. He clipped in Ben Yehuda's harness and Pemba short-roped him and they made their way down to C4 where they arrived at 6 pm. They rested there for 4 hours and went down to C2, where they arrived at 6 pm. They were rescued after Ben Yehuda called his insurance company in Israel from 6700m and they were rescued by Simone Moro in a helicopter from C2 on 21 May and were flown straight to Kathmandu via Pheriche and Lukla. He has frostbite on right hand on 4 fingers. Oxygen: Taken and used from C4 to summit, then Irmak ran out. Sherpa: Serap/Sherap, Taktar, Beni, Solu, 8/8/1972, Cho Oyu X1, Everest X5
