Route Notes Rayamajhi said she along with Santa Bahadur and Pur Bahadur left C4 South Col at 7 pm for the summit. After climbing many hours, her climbing guide, Pur Bahadur, told her that they had reached the summit. She does not know how many hours she had climbed and the time at which she reached to the top. She could not tell how the place looked as it was dark. She does not remember if she saw people coming up or going down. The team returned to C4 in dark and slept there. She does not know the time they reached C4. When she woke up, she said, it was already bright daylight. They went down to C3 on 25 May and C2 on 26 May; they had spent one night in each camp. On 27 May the team went down to BC. They left BC on 29 May. The ministry's debriefing form gives the summit time as 8:00 am. There is a remark written in the form by somebody which says only up to C3. The liaison officer said he had not met Rayamajhi until 1 January 2012, and that the team did not reach the summit. Mulal Gurung of Churen Himal Treks told Jeevan after the team had returned to Kathmandu that they had not been successful. Rayamajhi said she had lost her vision before reaching Namche on her return from the climb. It took almost two months to cure her blurry vision. She also complained that the behavior of Santa Bahadur and Pur Bahadur had disturbed her mentally. They had not helped her to cook and discouraged her all the time. She said that Pur Bahadur went up with a foreign client [Slovakian Jan Carnogursky], leaving her in C2; she did not know whether they got to the top. Later Pur Bahadur resumed climbing with her. No summit! Hired: Pur Bahadur Gurung, 17/12/88 (3/9/2045), Laprak-3, Gorkha Santa Bahadur Gurung, 23/10/59 (10/1/2016), Sunwara-5, Chisapani, Gorkha Presume all used oxygen.
