Route Notes One member, Chris Cookson, had to drop out because of a serious altitude problem that he developed about 10 May, when he arrived at C2 (6300m). The leader escorted him down to C1, and he left the team on the 12th. All the remaining members and four Sherpas went to the summit. They left C4 on 19 May at 8:30 pm and summited on the 20th at different times: Ruck and Chayang Jangbu at 5:15 am, Dey with Nima Thundu at 7:20 am, Mosedale at 8:30 am, Larsen with Dorje Gyalzen at 9:20 am, and Hunt with Pasang Dawa at 9:40 am. Ruck and Pasang Dawa descended to C2 at 1:00 pm and to BC the next day, the 21st, while the rest of the summiters stopped in C4 between 11:00 am and 2:30 pm on the 20th, went down to C2 on the 21st and were in BC on the 22nd. All the summit team members used oxygen in C3 to the top to, but not in C2. Their Sherpas used it from C4 to the summit to C4.
